Born in Franklin, Ohio, our founder Darrell "Fuzzybutt" Roberts moved to DeLand in 1970. Following in the footsteps of his Father, one of Ohio's premier auto and motorcycle customizers and painters, Darrell is now turning his childhood memories into vivid reality with his pinstriping and airbrush art.
Following a life revolving around cars and motorcycles led Darrell into a 6-year stint as a NSRA (National Street Rod Association) Safety Inspector for the State of Florida. Seeing that these hobby vehicles were constructed in a safe manner (as well as adding his striping to a few!) earned him many prestigeous awards, such as the StreetScene Magazine "Neat to Know" award and the Florida "Time Traveler" service award.
Darrell has since gravitated back to his first love... Mororcycles! Many have come and gone over the years (All receiving That "Personal Touch") He now rides a 2003, 100th Anniversary Edition Harley Davidson Road King Classic, and is active in the Daytona Beach Chapter of ABATE of Florida, where he has served as the newsletter editor for the last 3 years.
